"I see associating with Ann Coulter as far worse, except that perhaps residue of good vibes might break the seal on her Nazi heart."

So i see you had to throw that in...so i could throw in some crap like Al Gore's socialist/Nazi heart or Clinton's sexual predator heart, but hey, Al and Ann are deadheads I've heard, and this GD place is not about such political bashing. I enjoy Ann's writing's & commentary, and to say she has a heart of a Nazi is meanspirited and plain wrong, even if it's "right on!!" to some others.

So if i enjoy the good in people, and I don't judge her or Al's or Bill's heart, is that ok or simply my "ignorance" of the truth (as you see it). What would you think if someone walked up to one of these 3 and killed 'em? You may answer with something here, but would it be easy for you to see someone kill a "Nazi"?
None of them has declared war on me, or blew themselves & others up. You want to see real death Nazi's in action? Look toward the east and keep your head attached. We are a civilized nation at war with uncivilized, raised to hate-killers.
I'd much rather enjoy a Dead show with Al, Ann, Bill, (instead of comparing them to Nazi Germany & Hitler)
There is no comparison. If You call Ann a Nazi, you're calling me one also.

One way or another, this darkness has to give

Gotta keep your animal self from destroying itself and the rest of your multimind along with it.

Like when Kesesy told a knot in wood to stay on its side and he would stay on his side. (Seems like he mighta read William Blake: "I can look at the knot in a piece of wood until it frightens me.")

Yes politics are lame, especially right wing fascist politcs. Here's a sampling of comments of a horse-faced schikel-grubin' hired gun. I'm willing to do GD lyric commentary if this is off topic.

movie clips at:
http://www.crooksandliars.com/category/ann-coulter/

"We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity."

(talking to a disabled Vietnam vet) "People like you caused us to lose that war." -- MSNBC

Rep. John P. Murtha is "the reason soldiers invented fragging"...If Murtha "did get fragged, he'd finally deserve one of those Purple Hearts"

"We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee. That's just a joke, for you in the media."

"My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times Building."

"Liberals love America like O.J. loved Nicole."

"There are a lot of bad republicans; there are no good democrats."

"We need to execute people like (John Walker Lindh) in order to physically intimidate liberals."

"Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots."

"Liberals are stalwart defenders of civil liberties -- provided we're only talking about criminals."

"If John Kerry had a dollar for every time he bragged about serving in Vietnam -- oh wait, he does."

"Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the President."

"The swing voters -- I like to refer to them as the idiot voters because they don't have set philosophical principles. You're either a liberal or you're a conservative if you have an IQ above a toaster."

that horse-faced schikel-grubin' hired gun. (but what does schikel mean?)
At first i thought you were bad mouthing Cindy Sheehan(except for the schikel)...now there's a babe with lots of quotes-lol. I think I'll look up my fav Cindy quotes.

While the kids they dance and shake their bones
Cause it's all too clear we're on our own
Singin' ashes ashes all fall down

She's probably posting on this site.

She's probably downloading shows but only shows from 1995

Jerry probably played Day Job encores at every show that she attended.

Why persist in this argument and not talk about Alligator? Do neither of you have a favourite Alligator? See thread above. I asked and all that happend is that someone told me what song Mountain Jam is based on and I already knew that.

Maybe Ann Coulter or Cindy Sheehan or Bill O'Reilly or Jon Stewart or Al Gore or Karl Rove know who has my Bickershaw Festival '72!!!! Maybe they're sitting on it. Maybe Ann's listening to it right now laughing maniacally saying "You'll never get it leftie pinko traitor!" It's a grand conspiracy!!! Ann! Ann! Quick! Favourite Alligator!
Al, stop saving the planet and get on the phone. I'm looking for Bickershaw '72.

>> boy, i sure hate her now, thanks for opening my mind to the error of my ways!>>

The real ugliness is the feigned and real incompetence, lies, theft, torture, and murder. The right wing is draining this country dry, while poisoning it with words. This country can be a shining city on the hill, but not when ruled by the corrupt who their feed their foul spirits from the 'chicken shack' that is America.

All this is excused by the media in the biggest con job in human history. The NY Times provides cover for corruption, though not nearly as blantantly as Fox. A case in point is the CIA-Contra cocaine connection. They led the charges against Gary Webb's stories in the San Jose Mercury were false, then published corroboration just a few years later, yet still laugh him off. They let Judith Miller and others publish the lies about an Iraq/OBL connection and WMDs. And they've provided cover for big business fleecing before the scape-lamb is fully drugged and finally ritually slaughtered. If you think the whole of the law is do whatever thou wilt, then you're nothing but a phony magician.

At least you can learn 'this space is getting hot' on a bad trip. You might say God is the one 'in it for the gold', and alchemically the scum is abandoned. The vault of mercy is limitless, but as they say, 'if the thunder don't ya get then the lightning WILL.'

a selection from Coulter ad nauseum:
Rep. John P. Murtha is "the reason soldiers invented fragging"

UNCLEAN ROT is another way to spell that name (ann-agram)

Mark 5:8
For he said unto him, Come out of the man, thou unclean spirit.

What if someone wrote a pop song about Matthew 7:15, which warns of "false prophets, which appear to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravening wolves."

Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Turning people in for arrest and public repentence was a big deal in Mao's China & the former Soviet Union but I'm sure you have list's on who and why. I'm sure I'm on someone's list to "repent". Nice.
The daily rag's are already good at such things these daze.
With newsrooms filled with leftist tools indoctrinated by their Columbia U's Prof's. Thank God there is some balance with talk radio (for those who listen).
If you're from the Bay Area there's good exposure of the heart of the left on KGO's nightime Ray Taliafero show. I listen to that as well as the right side. He is a master of sneer! -lol. But like Savage, he speaks his mind & heart (like it or not) and is no phony(but very partison). Not like our doubletalking politicians on all sides of the fence.
Now concerning Jesus...a Christian is not supposed to "act"
like Jesus, they are supposed to be "in" Christ-actually, Christ living in their hearts. Uhhhhh..."what would Jeeeeesus do?" duhhhhhhhh! Methinks at least 90% of Christian's are phony and i don't perport to be one. I'm a Frisbitarion and Jerry is God-lol

I don't have my list out. It would be good for Coulter's soul if she would come clean instead of selling it for Babylon.

>>With newsrooms filled with leftist tools indoctrinated by their Columbia U's Prof's. >>

The media is totally corporate controlled (5 companies) and the message is almost all right wing talking points mixed with Monica, OJ, JeanBenet, Brad-gelina/Ben-iffer and other sideshows. There is no balance, as Fox amply shows.

These shows are great:

Jesus IS the model of Christian behavior, not the ones who say lord, lord. Goes for me too.

You don't have to study theology or listen to ministers to get this!

>> Please don't take offence if I simply respond to the Alligator portion>>

sydthecat, yes you cannot argue with facts. And the range of social options is larger than Coke vs. Pepsi, as GD proved. The 8/21/68 Alligator was only heard in virtual reality on this site.

To disagree, one doesn't have to be disagreeable-

Remember that a government big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything you have-

I would remind you that extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice! And let me remind you also that moderation in the pursuit of justice is no virtue.

With less hatred and demonizing of individuals, gems of knowledge can be gleened from people, for once in a while you get shown the light in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

Gotta say Spaced - that is the most intelligent and (should be) obvious comment posted during this whole "debate." I am a Christian but not church going. If only more people would see the truth in your comment (i know cosmic would feel the same way though like me, not church going).

Christianity and the teachings of the Dali Lama just make so much sense, it is amazing that people just can't get "it." I flap my internet mouth plenty of times on this site and others, but you are dead on friend. Jesus is love and love is peace!!

This just boils my blood but what of that? What I don't like about Coulter is that she spreads bad history particularly her writings on Joe mcCarth which are just appalling. And you don't have to be a George Clooney loving socialist pinko commie weirdo or whatever you want to call me. There are plenty of conservatives who find her irresponsible. I remember a time when right wingers were represented by thinkers like William F. Buckley. I disgreed with them heartily but respected that they could think and argue convicingly. People like Coulter and O'Reilly are clowns by comparison. These days on both sides it's whoever shouts the loudest wins and damn the truth!

The level of debate in America is in the toilet.

Thank you Syd - The truth is somewhere in the middle. Remember the middle, the fulcrum, the balancing point.

Unfortunately, being a centrist does not sell ads or achieve TV ratings. So, the middle is lost.

Just picture the left and the right lobbing scuds at each other, while the masses of real people duck and cover in the middle.

The media insists that we must take sides in this debate. I insist that we do not. Get the facts and form an opinion. However, ultimately YOUR opinion, MY opinion or THEIRS(TV's Talking Heads) will have little effect on the outcome. Right now, understanding the debate is more important than joining it.

Joe McCarthy was meanspirited in his heavy handed approach to a real problem. He had good council in Robert Kennedy though. IMO, the Venona project proved many of his assumptions correct.

Ann's free to write & say what she pleases, as is Moorer, Carvel and other attack dogs on the left.
I've read alot of stuff with an open mind-nobody puts me in a box where I'll refuse to even study another viewpoint, somehow "KNOWING" that it's all hookey.
Even Mein kampf gives insight on Hitler and how his ideals are alive in the mideast mindset.

Those "clowns"(that term, of course, makes their opinions irrelevant) O'Reilly and Ann Coulter, have many disagreements -if you dare to listen. The "middle" is very hard to find...just gotta poke around!

Sorry Cosmic you'll never get me to cut McCarthy an inch of slack. Too many people's lives were destroyed in a process that seems to be rearing its head today. ie: if you're against the war you're not a true patriot etc. That's what I mean about debate. Of course Coulter can write what she wants but what if she wrote stuff like Robert Fisk? Would she then be seen as un-American? A traitor? I think the Bill O. would be lobbing everything he could her way. Phrases like "card-carrying memeber of the ACLU" is the kind of code that makes me wretch especially when uttered in what is supposedly the ladn of liberty which seems more and more about simply the freedom to shop.

But Cosmic, you and I could probably have a terrific debate without being "attack dogs". That's what I'd like to see. Not only are these people misinformants (on both sides) but
they're boring to listen to and read. It's tiresome to me and that's why I tend to shy away from these types on both sides now. That's why I'd rather talk about the Dead with Ann Coulter than anything else as well. (I know Gore and his wife were both into the Dead but hadn't heard this about her).

I do think that there is a lot of corruption on the Hill and in the White House and that slowly, surely it's all hitting the fan. This darkness got to give.

Anyway, I think you're just hot for Ann.

Hey Now - Quite frankly, if the TV heads were as polite in their debates as the dead heads have been in this forum, their shows might be worth something to society. It's nice to read a debate without hyperbole and one in which neither party really cares who "wins". A debate in which the object is to share opinions and experience another person's POV, not to verbally pound the opposition in to oblivion.

Thanks guys...

Arabian wind, The needle's eye is thin, The ships of state sail on mirage, And drown in sand, Out in no-man's land where Allah does command.

What good is spilling blood? It will not grow a thing;
Taste eternity the swords sing: Blues of Allah In 'sh'Allah.

They lie where they fall, There's nothing more to say,
The desert stars are bright tonight lets meet as friends,
The Flower of Islam, The Fruit of Abraham.

The thousand stories have come round to one again,
Arabian night, Our Gods pursue their fight,
What fatal flowers of darkness spring from seeds of light.

Bird of paradise fly in white sky, Blues for Allah In 'sh'Allah, Let's see with our heart, These things our eyes have seen, And know the truth must still lie somewhere in between.

Under eternity, under eternity, under eternity blue,
Bird of paradise fly in white sky, Blues for Allah In 'sh'Allah.
